Foyer Valade is a residence for francophone elderly requiring personal and long term care services.

Foyer Valade’s mission is to create a home environment for the Francophone elderly by promoting their well-being and quality of life while recognizing the human and sacred dimension of each individual.

Established by the Grey Nuns in 1988, Foyer Valade is mandated by the province to serve the francophone community of Winnipeg and Manitoba.

Foyer Valade and Taché Centre are members of the Catholic Health Network and governed by a
Board representative of the community. The two facilities are funded by the Winnipeg Regional Health
Authority and their respective private foundations: Les Amis du Foyer Valade Inc. and Friends of Taché Inc.
